Adam Machon
Adam Machon is an experienced senior executive with global operating experience across the oil, gas and resources sectors.
Adam has recently joined MPK after 5 years as CEO and MD of Contract Resources, a provider of specialised catalyst handling and industrial services in Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.
Prior to Contract Resources, Adam spent 5 years in the United States as the leader of Ferrovial’s successful diversified Oil & Gas and Petrochemical contracting division.
Adam is passionate about safety, service quality and growing capability. He leads a team with extensive subject matter expertise and longevity working to create the brand that is MPK - we see it, solve it, do it!
Adam holds Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degrees and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Karen Volz
Chief Financial Officer
Karen has been with MPK for more than ten years and has been responsible for the high-level management of the company’s finance, taxation, insurance and payroll disciplines.
In that time, Karen has also served as company secretary before being appointed to the Chief Financial Officer role in 2023.
Karen provides a wealth of experience thanks to her successful management of key company transactions made over the past decade and her strong understanding and management of the company’s tax governance framework.
A Chartered Accountant with Bachelor degrees in Business and Commerce from the University of Queensland, Karen previously worked with EY for six years providing corporate and income tax compliance advice related to domestic and international transactions.
Tony O'Sullivan
Chief Operating Officer | Energy Infrastructure
Tony serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Energy Infrastructure for MPK.
Tony is responsible for ensuring the delivery of large scale Infrastructure projects across MPK’s operating segments.
Tony brings more than 23 years’ experience in the delivery of large-scale resource sector pipelines and infrastructure assets including overseeing the largest LNG gathering and transportation network in southern Queensland, and large-scale water transportation and infrastructure developments for mining projects in Western Australia and northern Queensland.
Prior to MPK, Tony was Head of International Pipelines for J. Murphy and Sons working on a variety of large-scale gas transmission pipeline projects in the UK.
Tony has held board member positions with the Australian Pipeline and Gas Association (APGA), including Association President and has a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from Staffordshire University.
Andy Gainsforth
Chief Operating Officer | Energy Services
Andy serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Energy Services for MPK
In this role, Andy is responsible for ensuring the delivery of the large array of technical services and solutions that MPK provides its energy sector clients.
With more than 25 years of working within the national and international Upstream Energy Industry, Andy brings a wealth of frontline experience and leadership to the role.
During his career Andy has demonstrated a strong commitment to industry advancement, by serving as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Australasian Chapter of the International Association of Drilling Contractors and through his active contributions to enhance industry safety through involvement in organisations, such as Safer Together.
Prior to joining MPK, Andy occupied senior management positions at Easternwell, Weatherford and High Arctic Energy Services.
Catherine Lacey
Senior Legal Counsel
Catherine holds the role of Senior Legal Counsel at MPK and advises the company on commercial and legal risk, governance, policy and procedural frameworks.
Catherine’s career includes broad commercial and corporate in-house and private practice experience in both Australia and the United Kingdom. During her career, Catherine has worked across a range of resource industry sectors including on and off-shore gas, construction and renewables. Catherine joined MPK after 13 years in-house at Shell Australia and QGC Pty Ltd where she advised on its natural gas and LNG projects across Australia.
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology from Queensland University of Technology. She has qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and in England and Wales.
Hannah Milford
Group Manager | Human Resources
Hannah has worked within the civil construction industry for more than 10 years and joined MPK in 2021.
As MPK’s Group Human Resource Manager, Hannah uses her extensive experience of working workforces, to deliver MPK the very best outcomes from its people.
Hannah’s mandate is to ensure MPK has the right people, with the right solutions and passion, that can deliver the right outcomes for MPK and its clients.
Hannah holds a University of Queensland Bachelor Degree majoring in Human Resources.
Danny Crooks
Group Manager | Safety, Assurance & Environment
Danny has been with MPK for more than ten years and is the company’s Group Manager for Safety, Assurance and Environment.
During Danny’s 15-year industry career, he has successfully managed all disciplines of HSEQ, particularly across the civil infrastructure sector.
Danny specialises in providing safety leadership and support across MPK’s diverse work fronts and applies his expert focus on practical, but strategic risk management processes to ensure MPK’s people are safe.
Danny ensures that the ongoing implementation of the company’s mental health support program.
